I wrote information packages for students and staff as well as providing teaching sessions for students. I developed an interest in wound care and stress management. I was part of two research articles, one on stroke management care, and one for wound care. The work initiated with my stroke care package has led to a change in the clinical care of stroke patients. I also started to research if there was a need or requirement for a stress management facility. This was to be for all levels of staff, across all departments including students. The ultimate aim was to reduce sick leave, have a happy work environment, and a continued improvement/conversation between all levels of staff. Furthermore, I was looking to see if having a stress management professional with coping skill advice would be beneficial."
