Professional organizations you belong to (please spell out the full name): Oakland Health Alliance:"Oakland Healthcare Alliance was designed to address the untapped networking relationships of small to medium sized healthcare businesses throughout Oakland County.
There are many different networking organizations that produce a “one-size-fits-all” approach to growing a business. OHA recognizes that this just doesn’t work for many small to medium sized health care businesses. Many of the networking groups that exist are not tailored to meet the needs of the smaller healthcare provider. Usually the end result of our networking endeavor is a benefit to some other business, but rarely to our own."

Should You Incorporate Your Registry Business? By Joseph Caracci, RN:"The short answer is yes! When starting a new nurse registry business, you are entering into a legal business environment that requires you to take steps to protect your personal assets, such as your home, your savings, and your retirement. With this in mind, you need to determine which legal form you are going to take for your new registry. Some of the common choices are a sole proprietorship, a partnership, a limited liability partnership (LLP), a limited liability company (LLC), and a corporation." http://www.nursingentrepreneurs.com/incorporate
