Reason for the change: early on in my career it was dissatisfaction. The last 2 moves have been for advancement
If you lost your job tomorrow how easily do you feel you find new employment: I could find a supervisory or charge nurse job pretty easily. They seem to be abundant in mmy area. Finding another Dir.. of Nursing position may be more difficult.
In how many years would you like to retire: 10 but due to financial status I will never be able to retire. I'll leave feet first.
Have you started any type of retirement fund: just a couple of months ago.

Do you feel having certified Patient Educational Materials on the WWW would be beneficial: Ive been looking for info on restraint reduction and pain management. Havent found much.

Your most pressing concerns with the profession and healthcare: Nurses still don't get the respect or the compensation that professionals in other businesses get. All too frequently both patients and their family members feel its OK to verbally abuse nurses. I'm very concerned about the impact managed care is having on the healthcare delivery system.

What attracted you to the field of Nursing: I started nursing school right out of HS at age 17. I've always loved elderly people even as a child.
Favorite TV show and musical artists: Millenium X Files any Football game. Fav music is Melissa Etheridge Springsteen Aerosmith
