Your most pressing concerns with the profession and healthcare: I am concerned that a massive nursing shortage in the next few years will result in hospitals trying to fill the gaps with improperly and poorly trained non-licensed personnel. This will result in the loss of quality health-care for everyone because nurses rely on more than just their education in making critical decisions regarding patient care. They also use their professional attitude and behavior, both of which are based on experience. These are not traits which can be taught or learned in a six month crash course in nursing.
